?*.~.*The Hijab*.~.*?

NO COPYRIGHT INTENDED!! A short video showing the beauty of the Hijab which refutes the common stereotype that all Muslim women are oppressed when in fact it is the very opposite. It is not a video that shows the true essence of Hijab but it is a simple video amongst many that shows Muslim woman in a different light to the typical -ve viewing that so many are accustomed to. It is not a religious video based on religious opinions but a video made up of a compilation of different pictures of how some of the Muslim woman exist today. NOTE: NO hateful comments will be allowed so don't bother posting them in the first place. Majority of the pictures used are of models and not necessarily how Muslim women wear the Hijab like. This video is made for girls to show that you're just as beautiful if you wear the headscarf icon biggrin ?*.~.*The Hijab*.~.*? Some of these styles may not be deemed as fufilling the proper requirements of Hijab but it's something that can be worn in all female gatherings if not outside or in the privacy of your own home if a woman doesn't want to take her scarf off icon smile ?*.~.*The Hijab*.~.*? Don't forget to rate and comment and enjoy!

I don’t understand, I keep hearing that? hijab is about modesty. Talking about it being beautiful is vanity – the opposite of modesty.

427skies: ALHAMDULEELAH that is the TRUE beauty of hijab is that women are drawn to it…

The truth is, hijab is a gift bestowed upon woman from ASUBHANNAHWATA’ALA; not to protect women from men in ANY way but to give? our powerful souls rest from our own (instinct) FIT-rr to pursue dominion over all creation… I don’t know WHY people think it is about sexual desire! This makes NO SENSE!

Do you want proof? Ok: ladies, who feels calmer, quieted, humbled, easy, relaxed, (OR SEXY!!) etc… by

In Muslim world a woman covers her hair, because she is too beautiful/precious/valuable to other men to lay their eyes on her, and the Western world call it ”oppression” of women, yet in the Western world, women are naked dancing sex dolls and are basically worth no more than the ticket the? men buy to enter the stripclub. You decide what’s the real opression of women…(although i am not fan of the niqab. that i can agree is a lil extreme…luckily my country that isn’t weared by women)

@itzaramaja No, it’s for modesty, to hide your? beauty for that special someone, so would be more romantic. Also, so men wouldn’t like you just for your looks, but also for your personality. Men can’t control their sexual desire, by the way. It’s as hard as trying to change human nature. There’s more beauty in modesty and by sacrificing your good looks to God, it shows how much you love him and how devoted you are. That’s the way God wants it, apparently. Believe in what you want, though.

You make “covering” so beautiful, and the make-up matches.? Love the wedding outfits

Gamezpussy January 27, 2012 at 12:47 am

I agree that on many women this looks nice, but I still don’t really get the reason for wearing it. I mean… I don’t understand why some? women want to cover themselves completely.. wouldn’t it be awfully hot under all that clothing? Also nobody should be forced to wearing this. If it’s voluntary, I guess there’s nothing wrong about it.

I am a very liberal person and I respect all cultures. But the? fact that this video states that the hijab liberates women from the lust of men….Then all of us women should cover up, and men cannot learn how to control their lust? I have a better idea: true liberation comes when men learn to control their sexual desire, thus respecting a woman’s right to dress however she wants.

I’m not Muslim, but? I want to wear a hijab…idk why. I think it’s pretty and a nice way to protect the hair. :)

mashallah , these are the real women , It is the most beautiful dress for woman,
This is what Allah swt says in The Holy Qur’an , this is that real covering that saves women right in real life, Not the democracy of west. masha hallah for these women, I wish all Muslim ladies learn from them , Very beautiful , a lot better then what they show in Hollywood movies. Islam has the answer for everything . the religion? which Allah swt chose for humankind .

I think u r all missing the point. It? is a great song but the video is not good at all. Hijab is not only covering the hair of a muslim woman, hijab is covering the entire beauty. What is the point of wearing a hijba but yo face is full of make up, u can as well show yo hair. A muslim woman is a pearl that should not be displayed, m wondering the meaning of hijab after I c those women.

@thedarknesscallingme Allah says in the Quran: “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error. Whoever rejects false worship and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things.” [Sûrah al-Baqarah: 256] Anyone who forces women to wear hijab is not following Islam correctly. Even though it is required in Islam, it is YOUR choice whether you decide to wear it or not. It is between you and God.?

ChrissyReam January 27, 2012 at 8:11 am

Im not arabic or muslim but I have thought of wearing them. Im not ready although I have a more modest classic style of dress than when I was a teen and now wear my hair in a bun all because I grew tired of the attention I was getting from men and women. When I finaly decide to wear one I also want it to be a reminder to MYSELF where I stand with God and who truly protects me…so one day.? Love This Video.
